My son/daughter is a jr. paperweight or paperweight, can you tell me more about this program?

The purpose of the Jr. Paperweight and Paperweight program is to introduce, emphasize, and develop the FUNdamental skills of lacrosse. The focus of practices as well as games is to promote an environment that encourages participation, skill development, and overall enjoyment of the game. At the end of the season, a special “Fun Day” is held where all teams come together to play one another in a fun atmosphere.

Typically we run this program on Saturday mornings, and the time is locked for each week. The season starts around the end of April and goes to the end of the school yearr.

What equipment does my paperweight need?

Helmet, lacrosse stick, shoulder pads, mouthguard, jock (or jill) and gloves. Although it is non–contact, we recommend kidney pads and slash guards for incidental contact and to have the players get used to full equipment. Remember, we provide a free stick to all new registrants! We also have a facebook swap group where you can seek out used equipment

What equipment is required to play box lacrosse?

The Nepean Knights Minor Lacrosse association is a member of the Ontario Lacrosse Association, and as such our players are required to wear the equipment required by our governing body. A full list of required equipment can be found here

We also have a facebook swap group where you can seek out used equipment
