Managers are an invaluable resource for any team, house league or competitive. It is recommended that each team have a team manager to assist the head coach with the administrative aspect of a team. Since all positions are voluntary, having someone in this position makes lighter work for all.
Managers’ duties include:
- Managing distribution and collection of team sweaters
- Ensuring all players are aware of the schedule for games and practices
- Communication of team changes
- Changes updates on league activities ie. Fun Day
- Managing any financial aspect of the (competitive) team if necessary.
- Filling in and collecting game sheets
- Arranging team accommodations for out of town tournaments
Managers are invited to approach the coach of their child’s team upon completion of the Tryout/Team Selection process.
