Isiah Moran-Weekes, Colin McKinnon and Tristan Thompson extended their Box Lacrosse seasons as they represented Team Ontario at the 2019 Box Lacrosse National Championships in Coquitlam, BC.

Tristan Thompson represented the Knights as a member of Bantam Girls Team Ontario who played in a tough 4-team division. This division fought hard in a double round-robin preliminary round and finished the the round in 2nd, then beat Team Alberta (3rd)  in the semi-final to advance to the Gold Medal game.  The Gold Medal game was a tight one, that saw no scoring until the third period. Ultimately, team Ontario came home with silver after losing to team BC by only a single goal. Final score 3-2.

Isiah and Colin represented the Knights as members of Midget Team Ontario. The team completed their preliminary round in 1st with a record of 5-0-1 and played Team First Nations (4th) in their semi-final game. They beat Team First Nations to advance to the Gold Medal Game, and after outscoring Team BC 12-7 Midget Team Ontario became National champions. Isiah led the division in both points and assists.

Congrats again to Tristan, Isiah and Colin for making these difficult rosters and being a part of this amazing experience.
