Thank you for your interest in coaching for the Nepean Knights Minor Lacrosse Association. We appreciate your interest in volunteering your time to mentor the players in our membership and to partner with us to grow the love of lacrosse in Nepean.
NKMLA is the second-largest lacrosse association in Ontario and we have grown and prospered because of volunteers such as yourself. In Nepean, we value respect, striving for excellence, and an open attitude to learning. If you want to join our coaching team, please submit your application.
Applications will be accepted January 3rd-31st. Interviews will take place in mid-February for the 2023 Lacrosse Season. You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your application. The interview is conducted by a coach selection committee which will consist of at least 3 members appointed by the Competitive Director.
The successful candidate will demonstrate to the coach selection committee a sound proficiency in team and individual skill development, tactics, and strategies in box lacrosse. In addition, coaches will also be assessed on their communication skills and ability to work effectively within a group dynamic.
